Lesley is a passionate advocate for and specialist in Outsider and Folk Art and has held positions as an independent curator as well as working for The Ohio State University - LeFevre Art Gallery (formerly Newark Founders Hall Gallery). Some of the work she has been involved with is listed below.
"Freedom of Expression in the Arts" A progressive project to examine the core principle of all creative work: freedom of expression.
James Beoddy wrote to the Task Force of Lesley Constable's courage: "She spoke [at the Task Force hearing in Columbus] of feeling alone against the forces of repression and thought control.
